NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Carroll University men's soccer team lost to first-place North Central College 1-0 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin game at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on Wednesday night.
It was the eighth loss by a one-goal margin for Carroll, which dropped to 1-4 in the conference standings and 3-11-1 overall.
Junior forward Ivan Bohorquez scored the winning goal off a double assist from senior defender Jon Borzick and freshman defender Spencer Wiese at the 84:34 mark to lead North Central, which remained atop the league standings with a 5-0 record and improved to 8-5-1 overall.
