Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) contributed eight kills, four digs, three blocks and two service aces as the Carroll University women's volleyball team swept North Park University 25-21, 25-10, 25-22 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin dual meet at Van Male Field House on Tuesday night.
It was the first conference victory of the season for Carroll, which improved to 1-6 in the conference standings and 11-19 overall.
Senior outside hitter
Dana Voltolina (St. Charles, Ill.) also finished with eight kills for the Pioneers, who registered their fourth sweep of the year.
Sophomore outside hitter
Kylie Mueller (Fox Lake, Ill.) chipped in six kills and freshman middle blocker
Sydney Cowan (Bothell, Wash.) had four blocks for Carroll, which maintained a balanced attack throughout the match by generating 35 kills, highlighted by 13 in the momentum-building first set, 10 in the pivotal second set and 12 in the final set.
Junior defensive specialist
Amanda Hahn (Itasca, Ill.) had 10 digs for the Pioneers, who committed only nine errors in the contest - powered by an error-free second set. Sophomore setter
Jennilyn Joy Cave (Bolingbrook, Ill.) added 15 assists.
Carroll also finished with seven aces, nine blocks, 29 assists and 31 digs.
