KENOSHA, Wis. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team struggled to find its rhythm and lost to first-place Carthage College 25-9, 25-13, 30-28 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin dual meet at Table Arena on Friday night.
Sophomore outside hitter
Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) had six kills, nine digs and two blocks for Carroll, which lost its second straight league dual to drop to 0-4 in the conference standings and 8-13 overall.
Senior outside hitter
Dana Voltolina (St. Charles, Ill.) contributed six kills and two blocks for the Pioneers, who combined for only 10 kills over the course of the first two sets but battled back to force an extended final set. Junior defensive specialist
Amanda Hahn (Itasca, Ill.) collected 13 digs and sophomore setter
Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) added 15 assists.
Megan Fallert, a 6-foot senior middle blocker, had a meet-high 15 kills for Carthage, which remained tied for first in conference with a 3-0 record and improved to 13-5 overall.
