WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Carroll University men's soccer team suffered a 4-2 loss to York College of Pennsylvania to conclude the second round of the "Turk" Emekli D.C. Classic at Cardinal Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Carroll, which dropped to 0-2 overall on its East Coast road trip, led 2-1 at halftime but yielded three unanswered second-half goals.
Sophomore forward
Austin Schulze (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) scored off an assist from sophomore defender
Peanut Taylor (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) in the 19th minute for Carroll, which was outshot 16-9 in the contest highlighted by a 7-4 margin in the second half.
The Pioneers' added their final goal as Taylor scored on an assist from freshman forward
Scott Biancofiori (Janesville, Wis.) in the 31st minute.
