Jack Kiiskila picked the perfect time to score his first collegiate goal.
Kiiskila, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound freshman forward from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., scored what proved to be the winning unassisted goal at the 19:46 mark as the Carroll University men's soccer team defeated Beloit College 3-0 in a nonconference game at the Strong Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
It was the second consecutive victory via shutout for Carroll, which improved to 2-11-2 overall.
The accomplishment took on added significance as it was the first victory on the road since Oct. 15, 2017.

Austin Schulze (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) scored off an assist from junior forward
Shea Connell (Alfaz Del Pi, Spain) in the 58th minute to extend the lead to 2-0 for the Pioneers, who outshot Beloit by a dominant 16-6 margin - highlighted with a critical 9-1 shot-on-goal advantage.
Carroll's final goal came as Connell scored his team-leading fourth of the season on an assist from Kiiskila in the 60th minute.
