Jensen Meyer (Germantown, Wis.) at the 12:44 mark as the Carroll University women's soccer team defeated Olivet College 2-0 in a sunny, cool nonconference home-field finale at Schneider Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
It was the fourth shutout of the season for Carroll, which kicked off Homecoming Week by snapping a three-game home-field losing streak to improve to 4-8-4 overall.
Freshman forward
Erika Hess (Green Bay, Wis.) contributed the other goal on an unassisted shot in the 68th minute for the Pioneers, who outshot Olivet by a 12-6 margin.
Junior goalkeeper
Christina O' Block (Libertyville, Ill.) registered six saves in playing the entire 90 minutes for Carroll, which won at home for the second time this season.
