Delaney Pruitt (Ringwood, Ill.) at the 89:16 mark as the Carroll University women's soccer team defeated North Park University 2-1 in a tension-filled College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin game at Holmgren Athletic Complex on Wednesday night.
It was the third consecutive victory for Carroll, which won by a one-goal margin for the third time this season to improve to 2-3-2 in the conference standings and 6-8-4 overall.
Senior midfielder
Jensen Meyer (Germantown, Wis.) had the other goal on an assist from Pruitt in the 22nd minute for the Pioneers, who outshot the Vikings 21-17 in the contest - including a key 9-5 shot-on-goal advantage.
North Park tied the game as junior forward Sam Moreno scored off an assist from freshman forward Clara Wernbo in the 83rd minute.

Christina O' Block (Libertyville, Ill.) registered four saves in playing the entire 90 minutes for Carroll.
