The women's tennis team struggled in their season finale, losing to Concordia (Wis.) 8-1 at the Moorland tennis center.
Grace Krueger picked up the lone win for the Pioneers, dominating the number one singles match by winning 6-1, 6-0.
While the match marked the end of the regular season for the Pioneers, the conference tournament is set for April 27-28 at Wheaton College. The Pioneers enter the tournament as the fourth overall seed, which places them in the second game on the 27
th. They will face off against the first seeded Thunder of Wheaton College. The CCIW Championship will be held on the 28
th and will feature the winner of the Carroll - Wheaton match and the winner of the Carthage - Augustana match.
