Box Score RIPON, Wis. - Junior middle blocker
Erika Dunnam (Shawano, Wis.) contributed a team-high 12 kills and three blocks to lead the Carroll University women's volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-21, 26-28, 25-22 victory over Central College to cap the final day of the Red Hawk Invitational at Ripon College's Keipe Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
It was the third four-set victory of the season for Carroll, which finished the tournament with a 4-0 record and improved to 8-4 overall.
Junior outside hitter
Cassidy Mrotek (Manitowoc, Wis.) followed with 11 kills for the Pioneers, who overcame a six-point deficit, generated 15 kills in the decisive final set with a .268 hitting percentage and showcased their mental toughness by committing just four errors. Junior outside hitter
Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) chipped in seven kills and 17 digs, sophomore middle blocker
Rachel Noonan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) collected five blocks, junior setter
Jennilyn Joy Cave (Bolingbrook, Ill.) had 18 assists and junior setter
Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) added 17 assists.
Freshman outside hitter Landry Luhring had 10 kills, 15 digs and an ace for Central, which dropped to 5-7 overall.
Mrotek and Wilkins were named to the all-tournament team.
