Decatur, Ill. – The Carroll University women's tennis team traveled down to Decatur, Illinois for a match against conference foe Millikin. The Pioneers faced tough completion, but still were victorious 6-3 against the Big Blue.
 
In doubles, all three groups of Pios won their matches. The number one group of Grace Krueger/Ashley LaBelle were victorious 8-4. Maya Gaedtke/Carolyn Merkatoris also defeated their opponents by 8-4. Rachel Papp/Erika Bosman battled, and edged their opponents 8-6.
 
In singles play, the women split with Millikin. Gaedtke fought hard to earn her win against Jones from Millikin. After winning her first set, she dropped the second one 2-6. After the dust settled in the tiebreaker, Gaedtke was victorious 10-8. Bosman also went to three sets, but was unable to best her competition, falling 1-6, 6-1, 1-6.
