WAUKESHA, Wis. - The 2019 D3baseball.com All-Region teams have been announced.

The 2019 season marks the eighth year that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 800 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region, as well as D3baseball.com staff and contributors. 

Carroll University's Matthew Putman has been named to the All-Central Region's second team as an outfielder.  

Putman is a senior from Lindenhurst, Ill. and set Carroll University single season and career marks for batting average in 2019.  Putman finished the season with a .472 average which placed him third nationally in NCAA Division III and an on base percentage of .557 which placed him fifth in the nation.  Putman's career batting average was .385.
