Carroll finishes weekend 4-0

Pioneers have gone undefeated with 12-0 record at Redhawk Invitational dating back to 2017

RIPON, Wis. - Senior middle blocker Erika Dunnam (Shawano, Wis.) contributed eight kills and five blocks as the Carroll University women's volleyball team swept Milwaukee School of Engineering 25-20, 25-17, 25-18 to conclude the final day of the Red Hawk Invitational at Ripon College on Saturday afternoon.
It was the second consecutive nonconference dual sweep of the day, third of the two-day competition and fifth of the season for Carroll, which finished with a 4-0 record and improved to 9-4 overall.
The dominant weekend performance took on added significance as it marked the third straight season that the Pioneers have finished undefeated in the invitational - registering an unblemished, statement-making 12-0 record dating back to 2017.
Senior outside hitter Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) followed with six kills and two service aces for Carroll, which has won six of its last seven. Junior middle blocker Rachel Noonan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) collected six kills and six blocks.
Freshman defensive specialist Emily Konop (Oregon, Wis.) had 13 digs and three aces for the Pioneers, who generated 29 kills, 12 blocks, 28 assists, 39 digs, seven aces and finished with a .265 hitting percentage. Junior middle blocker Rachel Noonan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) had six blocks with senior setter Jennilyn Joy Cave (Bolingbrook, Ill.) chipping in six digs and 12 assists. Senior setter Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) added four kills and 12 assists.
Senior outside hitter Kylie Mueller, who finished with 37 kills, eight blocks and 99 total attacks in the two-day invitational, was selected to the all-tournament team as Carroll finished with a share of the team title.

Chloe Wallach had 11 kills, four blocks and two blocks for MSOE, which dropped to 4-7 overall.
