Carroll finishes tournament with 0-2 record

Pioneers fall to UW-Oshkosh to conclude University of Dubuque Quad

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh 25-18, 22-25, 25-23, 25-11 to conclude the Dubuque Quad on Saturday afternoon.
It was the third straight dual loss and fourth in four sets this season for Carroll, which finished with an 0-2 record in the quadrangular and dropped to 10-8 overall.
Senior outside hitter Kylie Mueller (Fox Lake, Ill.) finished with a team-high 10 kills and two blocks to lead the Pioneers. Senior outside hitter Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) followed with nine kills, eight digs and a service ace while senior middle blocker/outside hitter Erika Dunnam (Shawano, Wis.) contributed nine kills and three blocks. Freshman defensive specialist Emily Konop (Oregon, Wis.) collected 20 digs, three aces and five assists. Junior middle blocker Rachel Noonan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) finished with six kills, four blocks and an ace, sophomore outside hitter Lauren Griepentrog (De Pere, Wis.) had nine digs and senior setter Jennilyn Joy Cave (Bolingbrook, Ill.) added 17 assists.
Carissa Sundholm had a team-best 13 kills for UW-Oshkosh, which improved to 13-5 overall.
