NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Senior forward Kale Maupin contributed a career-high 21 points with three 3-point baskets, five rebounds, three steals and an assist but it wasn't enough as the Carroll University men's basketball team lost to No. 18-ranked North Central College 63-55 in a physical, fast-paced College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin game at Gregory Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Maupin came through with a pressure-packed 3-pointer to trim the deficit to 56-55 with 2:27 remaining but the Pioneers couldn't complete the comeback.
