Waukesha, Wis. – The Carroll University women's soccer team completed their cohort of practices Friday night in a white-orange scrimmage. Team White pulled away in the second half to go on to win 3-0. Freshman
Johanne Ueland scored the game winner and her first collegiate goal in in the 56
th minute of the contest.
In a fairly equal match, team white found openings in the second half to take advantage. Freshman
Elizabeth Weinberg scored in the 59
th minute to take a 2-nill lead. Off the bench, Weinberg led the team in total shots with four. Ueland reached the back of the net again in the 81
st minute thanks to a quick assist by junior
Tara Bahr.
A year after a second-team all-conference campaign, junior
Kaitlyn Zanon took two shots tonight playing 70 minutes. Freshmen midfielder
Ava Style added two shots on goal of her own too for team orange. Team white outshot team orange 9 to 2 in the second period.
A celebratory senior night was held tonight as well. The team built a massive, socially distant tunnel to help celebrate the careers of their senior leaders. The senior class included

Cali Stephenson,
Katie Baertsch,
Claudia Jones,
Molly Schulteis,
Kasi Pagach,
Emily Majerus,
Zoe Thompson, and
Abby Beck.
All players on the bench remained six-feet apart during the contest with masks on. Athletes limited their non-contest related contact throughout the duration of the game, and left the field immediately after the completion of the scrimmage. Fans and parents in attendance sat six-feet apart when not coming from the same household.
