WAUKESHA, Wis. --  The Carroll University men's soccer team gave the No. 23 North Park Vikings a tough match in the first half, but the Vikings flashed the offense and scored three goals to win 4-0 against the Pioneers.
 
The Pioneers (7-4-1, 0-2-1 CCIW) struggled on offense managing to only get three shots the whole night. Carroll couldn't manage to get a corner kick either against the strong North Park team.
 
Zane Walters recorded the first Pio shot in the 17^th minute, but the attempt sailed wide left. After a North Park Foul, Ethan Pequignot's shot attempt missed left of the goal as well. North Park scored their first in the 21^st minute. Off the bench, Ben Hetzel tallied a shot that missed wide left too. The Vikings had possession for 69% of the first half.
 
The flood gates opened in the second half, with goals from North Park in the 62^nd, 64^th, and 65^th minutes. Carroll made mass substitutions towards the end of the contest and did not record a shot the entire second half.
 
Carroll will host Millikin on Saturday, October 16 at 7:30 PM as Carroll University celebrates Homecoming.
