Game 1

Lauren Harshbarger from second base before the end of the inning. Carroll went three-up, three-down to end the game.

Grace Bradley started the game for the Pios, but only pitched 1.2 innings before being replaced by
Breanna Roberts. Bradley was given the loss after surrendering the first three earned runs.
Carroll threatened again in the top of the fourth, placing

Kaylee Learman on third, but an eight-pitch at-bat finished with a strikeout to end the inning.
The Warhawks added on five more runs in the bottom of the third, including a three-run home run. Whitewater walked off in the bottom of the fifth on a wild pitch.
The Pioneers will regroup and begin CCIW play on Saturday, March 27 down in Millikin for a 1/3 PM double header, then quickly go over to Illinois Wesleyan on Sunday for another two-game series.
