MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Carroll University women's soccer team recorded its second shout out of the season on Sunday afternoon with a 5-0 victory over the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors. Elizabeth Weinberg scored twice for the Pioneers. With the win, Head Coach Susie Foster recorded her 100^th career win with Carroll University.
 
The Pioneers (4-0-1, 0-0 CCIW) ripped off 24 shots, 14 of which were on goal compared to WLC's 9. Grace Tumilty, who scored and assisted on a Pio goal, led with five shots including two on goal in 59 minutes. Carroll's Rachel Jenewein and Caitlin Fitzsimons tallied three saves a piece in the combined shut out.
 
Carroll wasted no time getting out in front, forcing a corner within the first minute of the game, and then Weinberg scoring unassisted in the third minute. Maddie Belo followed up in the 14^th minute with a rebounded goal after a Tumilty shot on goal was saved and deflected.
 
Tumilty's shots on goal finally paid off, after she scored 41 seconds into the second half on a ball from Simone Lippman. In the 48^th minute, Weinberg netted her second of the game off a pass from Kaitlyn Zanon to make it a 4-0 ballgame. Ally Scoma scored in the 74^th minute off a ball from Kaitlyn Shanks.
 
Carroll gets back on the road and heads North for Lawrence University on Wednesday night. The Pios are 13-3-1 against Lawrence since 2001.
