WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Sophomore Vanessa Uitenbroek of Carroll University women's indoor track and field finished in 15^th place in the shot put event at the 2022 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field National Championships.
 
Uitenbroek qualified in the second heat of the competition. In three attempts, Uitenbroek finished with just one legal throw, that went 12.71 meters.Uitenbroek needed a 13.55-meter throw to make finals.
