WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Carroll University women's track and field team competed in the first weekend of last-chance meets to increase their numbers before the season concludes in next weekend.
After day one of the St. Francis Fighting Chance meet in Joliet, Illinois,
Elizabeth Reddeman posted a time of 11:31:07 in the women's 3000 steeplechase event, finishing in third place.
At the Gregory Invite hosted by North Central, multiple women Pioneer throwers competed to improve their marks. In the hammer,
Emily Uitenbroek and
Jamie Pankratz finished first and second with marks of 54.87 and 52.28 meters. In discus,
Vanessa Uitenbroek finished with a mark of 46.71 meters, followed by Cate Gudiaitis' throw of 37.93 meters. In the shot put, V Uitenbroek and
Maria Falk both finished with marks of 12.30 meters.
