WAUKESHA, Wis. - Carroll's women's tennis team fell to North Park Sunday morning by a score of 5-4. The Pioneers won three of the six singles matches, while winning one of the three doubles matches.

In singles play, Maya Gaedtke won her number three match 6-3, 6-1, while Katherine Trifilio and Kaitlin Brandt were victorious at the fifth and sixth flights, respectively, by scores of 7-5, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-4.

In doubles play, Carroll's only team point came at the third flight where Gaedtke and Trifilio teamed up to win 8-1.

The Pioneers (2-5, 0-3 CCIW) will be in action again on Saturday when they'll travel to Millikin University. That match will begin at Noon in Decatur, Ill.
