WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Pioneers' women's tennis team completed their Fall schedule Tuesday afternoon, ending in a convincing 9-0 victory against Elmhurst College. Carroll won all six of the singles matches, with two coming by way of default, while they also won all three doubles matches, with the third flight coming via default.
In doubles play,
Natasa Pupovac and
Katherine Trifilio teamed up at the top flight to give Carroll an 8-4 win, while
Madison Ostrander and
Aalaiya Jacklin combined for an 8-1 victory at the second flight.
Pupovac was also victorious in her number one singles match, winning 6-4, 6-3, while Trifili won her second flight match in singles, 6-2, 6-2.
Kaitlin Brandl and
Makayla Counsell also won their singles matches at the third and fourth flight, respectively, by scores of 4-6, 6-2 (10-4) and 6-0, 6-0.
