Until, Revnew scored the first goal of the men's lacrosse 2023 season, with 25 seconds to go in the second period. As the Pioneers found themselves down 1-14 at the half. Carroll would hope to come out of the second half with a little more firepower but would find themselves still struggling to get going offensively. However, with 1:28 left in the third period, Defilippis would score to make it a 2-17 game going into the final period. Carroll was unable to find the back of the net in the fourth but would hold Lake Forest to just two goals in the final period.
The Pioneers welcome Edgewood College to town, as Carroll looks to bounce back as they have their first home game on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Schneider Stadium.
