WHEATON, Ill. - The seventh-seeded Carroll University men's tennis team lost to second-seeded intra-state rival Carthage College 5-0 in the quarterfinals of the College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin Tournament (hosted by Wheaton College) on Thursday afternoon.
The winner of this year's CCIW Tournament will earn an automatic qualifier for the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament. 
The Pios finished the conference schedule with a 1-6 dual-meet record (earning their first league victory since 2018) and ended the season 10-10 overall.
