WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Carroll University women's tennis team lost to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 8-1 in a nonconference dual meet at the Jean Kilgour-Trailblazer Tennis Complex on Sunday.
It was the second consecutive dual loss to a high-caliber opponent for Carroll, which dropped to 2-4 overall with the performance.
The Pioneers' only victory came as the No. 2 doubles team of Maya Gaedtke and Katherine Trifilio defeated UW-La Crosse's Lauren Lindow and Tasha Bailey by an 8-2 margin.
UW-La Crosse improved to 6-1 overall.
