Josh Raby Named CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week

After a record-breaking performance in Saturday's 70-23 win against Illinois Wesleyan, Carroll quarterback Josh Raby has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced Monday by the conference office.

Against Illinois Wesleyan, Raby set a new benchmark with a school record 423 yards of total offense and a combined five touchdowns, as the Pioneers broke a school record with 581 total offensive yards, while finishing just six points shy of the school's single game scoring record. A senior from Algonquin, Ill., Raby completed 23-of-33 passes (70 percent) against the Titans for 394 yards and four touchdowns. In addition to that, he also gained 29 yards on the ground, while scoring once more on a 16-yard scamper.

Through three games this season, Raby ranks 16th in all of Division-III in passing efficiency (180.3), while also ranking 14th in passing yards per game with a conference-best 312.0. He also ranks in the top 50 in the nation in completion percentage (.684), completions per game (21.7), passing touchdowns (9), passing yards (936), and yards per completion (14.4).
