WARRENVILLE, Ill. - Carroll Freshman
Keagan Knue has been named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year for her performance at Saturday's CCIW Cross Country Championships.
A native of Brookfield, Wis., Knue led Carroll at the CCIW Championships with a fourth-place time of 22:23.09. No Carroll women's runner has recorded a higher finish in that annual meet since 2016.
Knue finished with the team's top time in four of the six races she has competed in this season. Her time at the CCIW Championships marks a collegiate PR for Knue, who recorded a sub-23 minute time for the first time in five 6K races this season.
