Carroll University's football team saw two players earn a spot on the D3football.com All-Region Team Tuesday afternoon. Tight End Reed Breckheimer was named to the First Team, while Punter Noah Streveler earned Second Team honors.

A Junior from Hilbert, Wis., Breckheimer is making his first-ever All-Region appearance, after also being named to the All-Conference team for the third consecutive time this season, as he becomes just the fifth First Team All-Region player in program history. Carroll's jack-of-all trades, Breckheimer ranked ninth in the CCIW this year in receptions (36), 11th in receiving yards (476), and 12th in receiving touchdowns (3), all of which led the Pioneers. He also finished third on the team in rushing with 176 yards on 32 carries (5.5 ypc), while scoring a team-high five touchdowns on the ground. In addition to that, he completed the only pass he threw this season for an 18-yard completion.

Streveler is making his second consecutive appearance on the All-Region team after earning First Team honors last year. The Senior from Stevens Point, Wis. has proven to be one of the best punters in NCAA Division-III, leading the CCIW this season with a punting average of 42.2 yards, which set a new single season school record, and also ranked eighth in all of D-III. In addition to that, Streveler led the league in punts inside the 20-yard line (19), 50+ yard punts (7), and touchbacks (8). His longest kick of the season traveled 62 yards, which was the third longest punt in the conference, just two yards shy of the top distance.

This marks the 20th annual D3football.com All-Region Team announcement. Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, and schools and conferences were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. In total, 1,210 players were nominated, which marks a new high.

All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team.
