Carroll Can't Keep Up With Titan Offense

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Carroll men's lacrosse dropped their fifth straight game on Saturday afternoon, losing to CCIW-leading and offensive powerhouse Illinois Wesleyan by a score of 29-4 ion Senior Day. It was the final game of the season for Carroll, which dropped to 0-5 in the conference standings and 6-10 overall.  
 
Illinois, which improved to 5-0 in league and 11-3 overall, outscored the Pioneers by a 12-1 margin in the first period including three goals in the first two minutes of gameplay. The Titans maintained a 43-14 shots-on-goal advantage. 
 
Brady Conwell led the Pios with two goals, while Nick White, Josh Kovach, and Luke Bridges each contributed an assist to round out the scoring for Carroll. Brady Mollsen and Zachary Szuba both scored goals to round out the scoring for the Pioneers. Jake Gehl registered 14 saves in playing the entire game for Carroll. 
 

The Pioneers end the season with a 6-10 record, breaking the school record for most wins in a season, among many other records broken. An upwards trajectory is evident for the Pioneer men's lacrosse program, which was freshman and sophomore laden this season. The future is bright for Carroll men's lacrosse.
