WAUKESHA, Wis. – Pioneers fight, but fall 0-7 to the WIAC favorite, UW-Lacrosse Eagles.
Pioneers would lose the doubles point, losing all three doubles matches.
Natasa Pupovac and Kate Trifilio lost 3-6 in a tight battle at one doubles. Similarly,
Aalaiya Jacklin and
Mia Franke also fell 3-6 at two doubles.
In singles, Pioneers showed strength but ultimately were winless.
Megan Trifilio lost at three in a tight 1-6, 6-7 (4-7) battle at three singles.
Natasa Pupovac lost 4-6, 3-6 against Lacrosse's Tasha Bailey at one singles.
Makayla Counsell fell 3-6, 1-6 at five singles.
Carroll will look to bounce back at the ITA Midwest Regional Tournament in St. Peter, Minnesota. The tournament will take place September 18
th-21
st.
