arlos Cadet of Men's Track and Field, for their performances over the past weekend at the Tadd Metzger Invitational.
Carlos Cadet – Freshman – Jumps/Hurdles
Freshman Carlos Cadet, from Saint Albans, NY, delivered one of the top all-around performances of the weekend at the Tadd Metzger Invite, posting major points for the Pioneers in both the hurdles and horizontal jumps. Cadet opened his day with a strong showing in the 55-meter hurdles, placing second overall in 8.22. He then followed with a standout effort in the long jump, taking third with a leap of 6.83m (22-05.00). Cadet capped his day with a breakthrough performance in the triple jump, winning the event with a massive personal-best mark of 14.59m (47-10.50)—a result that currently ranks No. 13 in NCAA Division III this season and was a Pioneer All-Time Record. His combination of PRs, podium finishes, and a nationally ranked mark anchored an impressive scoring output for the Carroll men.
Cadence Carlson – Freshman – Sprints
First-year sprinter Cadence Carlson, from Sturgeon Bay, WI, continued her strong collegiate debut season with a meet-winning performance at the Tadd Metzger Invite. Carlson claimed the 400-meter title in commanding fashion, running 1:00.57 for a new personal record while securing 10 crucial team points. She later contributed a key leg on the Pioneers' winning 4x400-meter relay, helping the squad post a season-best 4:08.67 to close out the meet. Carlson's consistency, point production, and continued progression paced a strong weekend for the Carroll women's squad.
