NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Erik Jaschinski was named CCIW Pitcher of the Week following a dominant start on Feb. 28 in Carroll's 3–0 victory over Eureka.

Jaschinski set the tone early, working six scoreless innings and allowing no hits while facing 21 batters. He struck out four and issued three walks, consistently inducing weak contact and keeping Eureka off the scoreboard throughout his outing. Jaschinski was particularly effective at limiting opportunities, as the Red Devils did not record a hit against him and managed just three baserunners during his six innings of work.

The Carroll right-hander demonstrated strong command and poise, pitching efficiently and generating nine ground-ball outs while allowing only four fly outs. His performance anchored a combined one-hit shutout and played a key role in Carroll improving to 3–1 on the season. Jaschinski's ability to control the game from the start allowed the Pioneers to remain patient offensively before breaking through late. His outing was one of the most effective pitching performances in the conference during the week and earned him CCIW Pitcher of the Week recognition.
