WAUKESHA, Wis. — The Carroll University baseball team completed a doubleheader sweep of Beloit on Sunday at Frame Park, earning 6–3 and 6–5 victories to cap a strong day on the diamond.

Game 1: Carroll 6, Beloit 3

Carroll used timely hitting and a strong pitching performance to take the opener, breaking a scoreless tie with two runs in the third inning.

Joey Appino opened the scoring with an RBI single, and Jimmy Williams followed with another run-scoring play as the Pioneers capitalized on defensive miscues. After Beloit tied the game in the fourth, Carroll answered immediately.

The decisive moment came in the fifth inning, when Williams delivered a two-run triple, bringing home Dalen Lamberson and Brody Ferko to give Carroll a 6–2 lead. Beloit added a run in the ninth, but the Pioneers closed out the win.

Williams finished the game with three RBI, while Lamberson went 3-for-4. Appino added an RBI, and Carroll totaled 10 hits in the contest.

On the mound, Erik Jaschinski earned the win, working seven innings with 10 strikeouts, allowing just two runs. Ben Olsen pitched the final two innings to secure the victory.

The nightcap saw Carroll withstand a late Beloit rally to complete the sweep.

Carroll added three more runs in the fourth, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Jalen Cusimano and an RBI groundout from Brody Ferko, building a 6–0 advantage.
