Two Men's Basketball Athletes Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

WAUKESHA, Wis. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its annual Academic All-District Team for Men's Basketball, with Carroll University earning two Academic All-District honorees in Jacob Naber and Dennis Estepp.

Naber, a senior forward from Janesville, Wisconsin, earns the distinction for the second time in his career after putting together an outstanding season both on the court and in the classroom. In addition to his Academic All-District honor, Naber was recognized as the CCIW RESPECT Award recipient, an honor presented to student-athletes who demonstrate leadership, character, and sportsmanship.

On the court, Naber continued to solidify his place in Carroll men's basketball history. He surpassed the 500-career rebound milestone during the season, becoming one of the top 10 rebounders in program history. A consistent presence in the frontcourt, Naber averaged 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 56.4 percent from the field, providing efficiency and physicality on both ends of the floor throughout his senior campaign.

Estepp, a junior guard from Grayslake, Illinois, earns Academic All-District honors after emerging as a key contributor during the 2025-26 season. When injuries impacted the Pioneer lineup, Estepp stepped into an expanded role, providing steady minutes and versatility while continuing to excel academically.

Estepp appeared in 26 games this season, averaging nearly 24 minutes per game while contributing 6.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per contest. His ability to adapt to multiple roles and provide consistent production proved valuable as Carroll navigated a challenging conference schedule.

The CSC Academic All-District® Basketball Teams recognize student-athletes for their combined excellence in competition and academics. Academic All-District honorees advance to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America® consideration, with national honorees announced later this spring.

Naber and Estepp's selections reflect Carroll men's basketball's continued emphasis on developing well-rounded student-athletes who excel both on the court and in the classroom.
