WAUKESHA, Wis. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its annual Academic All-District® Team for Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving, with Carroll University earning five honorees for their combined excellence in the pool and the classroom.

Representing the Pioneer men's swimming & diving program is Elias Griggs LeRoux, a sophomore from St. Paul, Minnesota. LeRoux continued to be a strong presence for Carroll throughout the season while maintaining a high level of academic achievement, earning Academic All-District recognition for his dedication both academically and athletically.

Carroll's women's swimming & diving program was well represented with four Academic All-District selections. Kendal Richard, a sophomore from Janesville, Wisconsin, earned the distinction after continuing to develop into a key contributor for the Pioneers while excelling in the classroom. Kelly Gordon, a junior from Oak Lawn, Illinois, was also honored, reflecting her commitment to academic success alongside her competitive efforts throughout the season.

Senior Ashley Heetland, from North Aurora, Illinois, added another Academic All-District honor to her accomplished Carroll career. Heetland's selection underscores her leadership and consistency both in competition and academics during her final season with the program. Joining her on the Academic All-District team is Alexandria Ostopowicz, a junior from Sullivan, Wisconsin, who has balanced the demands of collegiate athletics with strong academic performance.

The CSC Academic All-District® Swimming & Diving Teams recognize student-athletes who excel both athletically and academically. Honorees advance to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America® consideration, with national selections announced later this spring.

These selections reflect Carroll swimming & diving's continued emphasis on developing well-rounded student-athletes who represent the university with distinction in and out of competition.
