Carroll Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Recognition for Spring 2026

WAUKESHA, Wis. — The Carroll University men's and women's swimming & diving programs were recognized for their academic excellence by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), earning Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Team honors.

Both Pioneer programs achieved the distinction by posting team grade point averages above the 3.00 threshold required for recognition. Carroll's women's team recorded a 3.55 GPA, while the men's team finished the spring semester with a 3.03 GPA.

The CSCAA announced a total of 714 Scholar All-America Teams from 418 institutions across all collegiate divisions. Collectively, those programs represented 16,680 student-athletes who demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and in competition.

"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand."

Under the direction of head coach Guy Gniotczynski, Carroll's women's team featured 22 student-athletes, while the men's team included 10 student-athletes during the 2025-26 academic year.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team program recognizes collegiate swimming and diving teams that achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher during the semester. Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college swimming and diving coaches and serves as a leader in advocacy, professional development, and advancement of the sport.

The recognition highlights the commitment of Carroll's student-athletes to success in the classroom while competing at a high level in the pool.
