Seth Smith joined Carroll University in 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Carroll in 2020, before going on to receive his Masters in Sports Physiology and Performance Coaching from his alma mater in 2021. In addition to his athletic training duties, Smith also serves as an assistant baseball coach, where he works with the pitchers.
Prior to graduation, Smith was an intern with the University of Milwaukee's strength and conditioning team. where he worked primarily with all sports. After graduating, Smith started his career at Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., where he was the primary athletic trainer for Men's Soccer, Swimming, and Baseball.
After his short stint at Anderson, Smith accepted the Assistant Athletic Trainer position at Carroll University in July of 2022. He oversees practice and event coverage for women's soccer, women’s lacrosse, tennis, and men's basketball.
Smith is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification and is licensed by the state of Wisconsin. He also is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Smith currently resides in Milwaukee.
