2021: CCIW Second Team All-Conference…started 11 games while appearing in 12 for the Pioneers... finished with a 2.84 ERA, the lowest among Carroll starting pitchers…finished a team best 5-3 with one complete game through 69.2 innings pitched…allowed 76 hits, 22 earned runs, 15 walks while striking out a Carroll record 71 batters…pitched six, no hit innings, allowing one walk and striking out five against Cornell on 3/14/21… garnered CCIW Pitcher of the week honors for pitching eight innings and racking up a career-high 10 strikeouts after allowing eight hits and just three earned runs against North Central on 4/3/21…went eight innings allowing one earned run while striking out seven against Millikin on 4/17/21…recorded his first career complete game, allowing 11 hits, two earned runs, while striking out seven on 4/24/21…threw seven innings and allowed no earned runs on nine strikeouts at Illinois Wesleyan on 5/1/21…earned a victory in the CCIW tournament, allowing just one run on seven and a third innings pitched with eight strikeouts against North Park on 5/19/21.
2020: The 2020 season was cut short after 11 games due to the COVID-19 pandemic…appeared in six games as a relief pitcher for the Pioneers with a 4.76 ERA and five strikeouts…made his season debut on 2/15/20 against Sewanee going two-thirds innings and giving up one hit and one walk…had his longest outing on 3/9/20 against SUNY Canton going two innings allowing one run on two strikeouts…finished the season on 3/14/20 against Rockford University going two-thirds of an inning striking out one and allowing two runs.
Personal: Majoring in applied physics and pre-engineering...high school accomplishments include all-conference selections in football and basketball, all-city baseball selection, academic all-state in baseball and football...hobbies include following the NBA, watching movies and TV, playing video games and reading...favorite TV show is Avatar the Last Airbender...chose Carroll because of the academic programs, the athletics, the location, and the scholarship opportunities.
