Luke Duckett finished out his graduate assistant position at Carroll in the summer of 2021. Duckett is now an assistant coach at Illinois College.
Duckett is a native of Brookfield, Wis., and was a former basketball standout at Brookfield Central High School where he began his coaching career as well. Duckett attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as a basketball recruit and graduated in 2013. Upon graduation Luke moved to Denver, Colorado to work as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Colorado Premier Nike EYBL Basketball Club. During his time in Colorado, Duckett worked coaching the program's top high school travel teams, as well as serving as director of recruiting, camps, Skills Academy, and more. Luke is will obtain his Master of Education from Carroll in 2021.
Luke is not the first Duckett through Carroll University as his grandfather (Bob Duckett) is in the Carroll Hall of Fame and was Men's Basketball's "Hinky Hero" award winner in 1947.
