Gabe Pearlman was named Carroll's Head Men's Lacrosse Coach on November 19, 2024. He took over a program that finished with a program-best six wins in 2024.
In his first season at the helm of the Pioneers, Pearlman led Carroll to its best start to a season in program history, winning his first three games as the program's head coach. The Pioneers would ultimately finish the year with a 5-9 overall record, setting a program-record for Single Season Goals Against Average (12.76). The Pios also received the first All-Conferene selection in program history that season (Brady Raczkowski).
Pearlman came to Carroll from Marian University, where he served as the Sabres Head Men's Lacrosse Coach for one year. During his tenure there, Pearlman produced two All-Conference Honorable Mention selections and one CSC Academic All-American. He also generated revenue through fundraising, and grew his roster to 21 players at the time of his departure.
Prior to his stint at Marian, Pearlman served as the Graduate Assistant Coach at Frostburg State University. While at Frostburg, he developed an offensive playbook, contacted new recruits, led campus tours, helped the team break program records for goals, assists, and points in a single season, and guided four offensive players to All-Conference honors. Pearlman also has coaching experience at 6 Points Sports Academy, Washington and Jefferson College, and Stevenson High School.
A 2018 graduate of Beloit College, Pearlman was a four-year varsity player on the lacrosse team for the Buccaneers. While at Beloit, Pearlman was named to the Dean's List three times, while also earning a spot on the Midwest Lacrosse Conference All-Academic Team on two occasions.
