Peterson helped Carroll's women's swim team finish fifth at the CCIW Championships over the weekend, scoring more points than last year's conference meet. The weekend was highlighted by Peterson's third consecutive conference championship in the 50 Freestyle with a school-record time of 23.99, which marked the second time in one day that she broke that record, which had originally stood for 11 years. Peterson also qualified for two other A Finals, finishing second in the 100 Freestyle (53.21) and sixth in the 200 Freestyle (1:58.22). She also swam a leg on four top-four relay finishes for the Pioneers.
