Senior running back Mikey Coleman powered the Pioneers’ offense in a high-scoring showdown against WashU on September 20. Coleman carried the ball 15 times for 84 yards and scored two first-quarter touchdowns (runs of 17 and 1 yard) to give Carroll an early lead in what became a 41-29 shootout. He also contributed to the passing game with 4 receptions for 22 yards, showcasing his versatility. Coleman’s strong performance helped Carroll rack up 361 yards of total offense and nearly pull off the upset at Schneider Stadium.
