Box Score TUCSON, Ariz. - Carroll University (2-6) fell short in the final game of their spring trip to Carleton College by the final score of 5-3.

Starter Carl Formento was solid in his second start of the season surrendering 3 earned runs in 6 1/3 innings while striking out two.

Coach Rear on their spring trip, "Our goal coming down here was to grow as team and put ourselves in the best position possible to compete in the Midwest Conference and I think we took great stides towards meeting that goal. Our record isn't what we ideally wanted it to be, but we accomplished a lot and have put ourselves in a great position going forward."
