(Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) – The Carroll University men's basketball team improved to 8-0 on the season with a 58-56 victory over Edgewood College at JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.
The Pioneers trailed 28-19 at the break following a woeful 26.9% shooting performance from the field in the opening 20 minutes. Carroll connected in 50% of its shots from the field in the second half to overcome the deficit and remain unbeaten on the season.
The Pioneers did not lead in the second half until the 2:52 mark.
Bryan Nagy led Carroll with 20 points while Kyle Keranen chipped in with 19 points.
The loss drops Edgewood to 1-9 on the season.
Carroll returns to action tomorrow when they take on UW-Oshkosh at 7 p.m. The Titans lost today against Augustana College, 67-65. The Augies are the top ranked team in the country at 10-0.
