(Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) – The Carroll University men's basketball team suffered its first defeat of the season, falling to UW-Oshkosh at the JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells, 67-51.
The Titans led by 10 points at the break (29-19) and held a comfortable lead throughout the second half. The Pioneers pulled to within seven points in the second half but could get no closer.
Kyle Keranen had a strong outing for CU, netting a team-high 21 points. No other Pioneer reached double figures in scoring.
Carroll connected on just 34.8% of their shots from the field in the first half but improved in the second half to 45.8%. Among their shooting woes in the opening 20 minutes was an 0-8 performance from three point land.
