(Waukesha, Wis.) – The Carroll University women's basketball team lost a Midwest Conference tilt against Grinnell College, 67-61.
The game remained tight throughout, with Grinnell edging to the final advantage with just over four minutes to play. Carroll led 53-51 with 6:45 to play but Grinnell went on an 8-2 run over the next two minutes to claim the lead for good.
Brittany Groer led Carroll with 22 points and nine rebounds while Malory Christenson scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
The Pioneers shot 34.3% from the field.
