MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Sophomore midfielder Ariannah Ritter (Sun Prairie, Wis.) scored two unassisted goals as the Carroll University women's lacrosse team lost to Augsburg College 18-4 in a season-opening nonconference game Saturday night.
Sophomore midfielder Izzy Snow had a game-high four goals for Augsburg, which showcased a consistent offensive attack as it accumulated nine goals in both the first and second halves, outshooting the Pioneers 40-10.
Freshman attackers Darby Henjum (Rosemount, Minn.) and Amanda Ferr (Franklin, Wis.) each added a goal for Carroll - which scored three times in the second half.
Sophomore goalkeeper Shelby Schoob (Sun Prairie, Wis.) had 15 saves in competing the entire 60 minutes for the Pioneers.
