WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Carroll University women's lacrosse team lost to Beloit College 14-1 in a nonconference game at Schneider Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
It was the second consecutive home-field loss for Carroll, which dropped 1-5 overall.
The Pioneers were outscored 9-0 in the decisive first half, including three unanswered goals in the opening 13 minutes.
Senior midfielder Hannah Drexler scored five goals for Beloit, which improved to 6-3 overall. Sophomore attacker/midfielder Tate Mitchell and freshman midfielder Nicole Dolcimascolo each followed with four goals for the Buccaneers, who outshot Carroll 35-12 - including a 24-8 shot-on-goal margin. 
Sophomore midfielder Ariannah Ritter (Sun Prairie, Wis.) scored the lone goal in the second half for Carroll.
Sophomore goalkeeper Shelby Schoob (Sun Prairie, Wis.) registered 10 saves in playing the entire game for the Pioneers.
