DUBUQUE, Iowa - Sophomore middle blocker Erika Dunnam (Shawano, Wis.) and senior outside hitter Dana Voltolina (St. Charles, Ill.) each had 11 kills but it wasn't enough as the Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to Wartburg College 13-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-13 in a nonconference dual to conclude the final day of competition at the Loras Invitational on Saturday.
Sophomore outside hitter Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) followed with six kills for Carroll, which finished the 1-3 in the two-day tournament and dropped to 2-7 overall.
Junior defensive specialist Amanda Hahn (Itasca, Ill.) had 26 digs and sophomore setter Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) added 16 assists for the Pioneers.
Senior middle blocker Aryn Jones and senior middle blocker Maddie Miller each had a team-best 10 kills for Wartburg, which improved to 5-0 overall.
