WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to high-powered No. 11-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 25-22, 25-19, 25-21 in a nonconference dual meet at Van Male Field House on Saturday afternoon.
It was the third consecutive victory for UW-Whitewater, which improved to 10-3 overall.
Senior outside hitter
Dana Voltolina (St. Charles, Ill.) contributed a team-high 10 kills for Carroll, which dropped to 7-9 overall. Sophomore
Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) followed with eight kills, 11 digs, two service aces and two blocks for the Pioneers. Sophomore outside hitter
Cassidy Mrotek (Manitowoc, Wis.) had six kills with sophomore setter
Jennilyn Joy Cave (Bolingbrook, Ill.) adding 17 assists.
Senior outside hitter Sydney Racky had a meet-high 15 kiils and senior middle hitter Courtney Wagner had 10 kills for the Warhawks, who had 45 kills, seven aces and 45 assists.
